
Jackie Malton Honorary Patron
Jackie, an ex-Detective Chief Inspector of the Metropolitan Police, is renowned as the real-life inspiration for the award-winning series Prime Suspect. Throughout her career, she investigated various crimes and served on The Flying Squad. After leaving the police, Jackie worked as a story consultant for TV police dramas, including Prime Suspect. She holds an MA in Creative Writing, authored a play, and has an MSc in Addiction Psychology. Jackie also voluntarily facilitates addiction groups in prisons and received an honorary Doctorate for her work in Criminology. Her memoir, The Real Prime Suspect, was published recently.
Andrew Morris Founder
Andrew grew up in Brixton and experienced the pain of love and grief after losing his grandmother. This led him down a destructive path of alcohol and drugs. After years of homelessness and imprisonment, he was determined to change his life. Despite an indeterminate prison sentence, he was eventually released after over a decade. Now, he works in the Civil service and founded New Wave Trust to mentor young people in prison and those at risk. He also serves on the Advocacy Board of Breakthrough and is a trustee of the Raphael Rowe Foundation.


Zenobia Asanga Trustee Board member
Zenobia is a student currently studying business, sociology, and law at A-level. With a keen interest in law, she plans to pursue it at university to explore different aspects and cases. Fascinated by recent laws like the one on defacing statues, Zenobia aims to understand the process of law acceptance. She believes that studying law not only covers daily life but also contributes to the progress of society. A trip to Romania further ignited her curiosity about laws in different countries. Through her law studies, Zenobia has developed problem-solving skills and aims to apply her knowledge and practical skills to succeed in making a change in society.
Thirza Amina Asanga – Rae Trustee Board member
Thirza Amina Asanga-Rae, a Nigerian-born British national, grew up in Manchester before moving to London for education. She built her career in railway services and operations, working with unions like TSSA and UNITE. Thirza served as the former Chair of Greater Manchester Tenant Union and now leads community organising in Moss Side and North Manchester, addressing issues of racism, housing, and more. She is actively involved in community organisations and projects, campaigning against the “Schools to prison” pipeline and promoting wealth building and empowerment for BME-owned businesses.


Ty Goddard Trustee Board Member and Education Advisor
Ty Goddard, Co-founder of The Education Foundation and Chair of Edtech UK, is a prominent figure in education reform and a leading expert on the future of education. He advises the Department for Education on Extended Schools and served as the elected Chair of Education at Lambeth Council. Recognised as one of the most influential people in London, Ty is also a Tech London Advocate and formerly worked as the UK and European Political Advisor for the NSPCC.
Rebekah Johnson Trustee Board member
Rebekah is an experienced facilitator with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. She is skilled in Networking, Teamwork, Learning and Development. She is strong administrative professional with a BSc Hons focused in Forensic Science and Investigative Analysis from Kingston University.
